1.    Remove fan blade covers and thumbscrews from shipping box.

2.    Place each thumbscrew into hole on blade cover and thread thumbscrew just until it holds.  Do not tighten completely! Slide blade cover onto your existing ceiling fan blades one at a time.

Palm Fan Blade Cover should be slipped just over the blade iron (metal blade bracket) of your existing ceiling fan. The following is very important to prevent damage to the blade cover and allow easy installation: You will have to slip your finger in the half-moon shaped notch and lift ever so gently to slide the blade cover completely over the metal blade bracket of your existing ceiling fan blade. The half-moon shaped notch on the wide end of the blade cover should align with and rest on the metal blade iron arm of your existing ceiling fan blade.

3.   Center each fan blade cover over your existing ceiling fan blade.  

4.    Hand-tighten each thumbscrew on each of the fan blade covers before going to the next.  

5.    Check the alignment of your new Palm Fan Blade Cover by looking down from the pointed end of the blade towards the motor and adjust if necessary by loosening thumbscrews, adjusting cover and re-tightening thumbscrews again.
